Standard product specification is a mean of 28-33 cfu with a standard deviation of less than 3. Also available is a 10,000 cfu BioBall™ which has a standard deviation of less than 20%. BioBall™ is easy to use. It requires no preparation or pre-incubation. It can be added directly to media or matrix samples. Applications include - > Method validation > Quantitative quality control > Accreditation compliance > Multi-laboratory standardization > Measurement of Uncertainty. BioBall™ products are freeze-dried with a shelf life of 12 months when stored at -20 degrees Celsius. Bacteria available: > Food bacteria e.g. Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli > Water bacteria e.g. E. coli, Entrobacter aerogenes, Entrococcus faecalis > Pharmaceutical - full range of United States Pharmacopiea organisms.
