KIS Antibiotic Residues |

The test is designed to absorb KIS serum and kidney can be used in the slaughterhouse. If antibiotics are present in the sample, they will inhibit microbial growth in the vial of KIS preventing the colour change to yellow.
KIS test has been used very successfully in beef kidney and swine kidney. It has also been adapted for analysis of water extracts of fodder, serum and urine, making this test an ideal tool for HACCP programs.
