VitaFast® test kits significantly reduce hands-on time when compared to traditional microbiological methods. They provide greater reliability, higher productivity and significant cost reduction. The new VitaFast® product line determines the vitamin content microbiologically based on approved methods, but uses a microtiter plate coated with specific micro-organisms thaty require a specific vitamin to grow. The turbidity of the plate solution correlates with the vitamin concentration. The product line includes: folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, niacin, pantothenic acid, thiamine, riboflavin and pyridoxine. VitaFast® is an excellent tool to ensure product quality in terms of nutritional label information. Results may be ready within 24 hours. Testing of vitamins is now easy and cost-effective compared to HPLC. |
