Safe-Septum® for Bioreactors

Safe-Septum® by QMI® allows you to aseptically inoculate or transfer cultures, nutrients and enzymes into your bioreactor.  

Unlike conventional systems, Safe-Septum® features a multi-port design with single-track needle channels. You use each aseptic channel only once; therefore, you are in control of your bioengineering process.

Benefits:

1. Aseptic. Pre-sterilized, easily sanitized with a hard, smooth surface.  

2. Pressure and temperature safe. QMI® Products will withstand the temperature and pressure used in most bioreactors.  

3. Pre-sterilized. Each port is sterilized with ethylene oxide and ready to use safely.  

4. Additional port capacity. Multi-port design gives you a choice of seven or twelve channels.  

5. Used ports are easily identifiable. No risk of contamination from reinserting needle into a previously used channel. 

6. Convenient to retro-fit. Threads or tri-clamp connections provide hassle-free installation.  

7. GMP and SOP. Safe-Septum® will help you comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and is easily incorporated into your Standard Operating Procedures. 

8. Single-track needle channels. Perfect for critical processes requiring aseptic conditions.
