The 3M Petrifilm Plate Reader automatically exports sample results into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet – eliminating transcription errors and reducing keying time. The included 3M software also creates an uneditable log file which provides a historical record of data for audit purposes and enables FDA 21CFR Part 11 compliance. The log file can also be saved in text format to enable easy exporting to a LIMS or other external database.

The 3M Petrifilm Plate Reader was designed to be a plug and play device and can easily be set up in minutes. It is a compact unit that takes up minimal lab space and is easy to store when not using. Red and green LED lights on front of the unit indicate when the system is ready to read the next plate – eliminating the guesswork.
