Stable Micro Systems' TA.XTPlus Texture Analyser is the next generation Texture Analyser - light years ahead of any other instrument. The TA.HDPlus Texture Analyser is SMS' brand new next generation Texture Analyser. SMS took all of the features of the TA.XTPlus and folded them into their heavy duty model. The TA.HDPlus can be fitted with 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 750 kilo load cells; and changing load cells takes only a few minutes. 

Food Product Testing:  Virtually the entire food industry use the TA.XT2i or TA.XTPlus Texture Analysers to quantify textural parameters. Pharmaceutical Testing:  Our instruments are extremely popular for testing a wide variety of pharmaceutical products to quantify virtually every physical property of  pharmaceutical products. SMS now has an Enhanced Security Module for compliance with the FDA's Chapter 21 part 11 standards for all tests with their TA.XTPlus & TA.HDPlus. 

Adhesive Testing:  The TA.XT2i & TA.XTPlus Texture Analysers are used to quantify the adhesive & tack characteristics of an incredible array of products.  

Capillary Fixture:  Dr. Jae Park of Oregon State University's Seafood Lab in Astoria has helped  develop the TA-525 Capillary Fixture Kit for calculating the apparent viscosity of thick fluids and pastes. 

Film Testing:  The TA.XT2i or TA.XTPlus Texture Analysers can be used to quantify just about every film characteristic imaginable.  

Gel Testing:  SMS' texture analysers are used worldwide for testing conducting standardised tests for gels. But world-class gel manufacturers have gone beyond the standarised tests to explore gel properties that are more important for their gel applications.
