Online Bulk Density System

The accurate weighing repeatability of the Bulk Density System is, despite consistent information about actual bulk weight, also capable of controlling essential extruder parameters, moisture sampling, drying retention time as well as bag size volume control.

Typical manual density sampling is used as an indicator only. Accuracy for manual bulk density sampling is very limited and the typical variation is ±10-20 g/L. The variation is typical due to non consistent sampling method, design of the cup as well as scraping of sample.The BDS provides an identical sampling frequency therefore the filling of the cup is always the same. Using a special-designed and patented sampling cup the system provides very accurate weighing results unlike any previous attempts to develop such systems.

The system is supplied with a control system, which provides a wide spread of information such as alarms for bulk weights not complying with specifications, trend curves, multi language selection and many more features.

Optional features include moisture control and photographs of samples.
